Week 3 Activity 1: Persistent Pollution


1.Greenhouse gases increases smog, rise in mould and more pollen.
2. Smog helps sulfurous and photochemical.
3. Toxic Pollutants causes enviromental effects and health problems

Week 2 Activity 3: Something Smells Fishy

Fish Fact #1: The oldest known fish in the world is a 65 year old Australian lungfish.
FALSE: Some fish can live for more than 90 years.
Fish Fact #2: Sharks are the only fish that have eyelids.
FALSE: Sharks do have eyelids but they are not the
only fish with eyelids.
Fish Fact #3: Starfish are a type of fish.
FALSE: Starfish are actually echinoderms
Fish Fact #4: Fish communicate with each other by making low-pitched sounds (moans, hisses, etc)
FALSE: Actually some fish use low pitched sounds, seven species use high pitched sounds and most fish use body language.
Fish Fact #5: Fish usually swim together in groups called ‘classes.’
FALSE:Because fish swim in groups called school's.

SLJ Paying it forward

If I traveled back in time to the 1930's and visit a family, the special gift I would give to them is food, money and even a warm home with all the supplies they need like clothes, shoes and other supplies. I would give food, money and a home because in the 1930's was The Great Depression. People were struggling with money and because they were struggling so they couldn't buy much gifts and treats for each other and that is why they often ended up homeless.
